Marco van der Veer is an experienced professional in tax technology, currently serving as the Director of Tax Technology at Sovos since November 2020. In this role, Marco leads a team of senior global experts in e-invoicing, tax determination, and reporting, providing essential knowledge to various stakeholders. Marco has previously held several significant positions, including Senior Manager of Tax Technology and Manager of VAT & IPT Technology Services at Accordance, as well as various roles at Philips and DHL, where responsibilities included VAT reporting, indirect tax management, and financial accounting.
