Akriti Swaroop

Akriti Swaroop, CFA, is the Co-Founder and COO of Sovrenn, a role held since November 2022. Prior experience includes working at Credit Suisse as an Asia Thematic Strategy researcher, focusing on investment ideas for the Asia Pacific region from July 2019 to January 2021. At Deutsche Bank, from April 2014 to June 2019, Akriti held multiple positions including Associate and AVP, where responsibilities included fundamental and technical analysis of stocks in sectors such as pharma and infrastructure, along with developing an in-house ratings model. A brief internship in 2013 at JPMorgan Chase involved paper trading and developing an econometric model for currency in circulation. Akriti began a career in finance after earning a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, alongside completion of Level III from the CFA Institute. Early education includes attending Delhi Public School and Loreto Convent in Ranchi.
