Joel Thomas

Joel Thomas currently serves as a Wind & Solar Project Developer at SOWITEC GROUP, a leading global player in renewable energy since August 2021. With a Master's degree in Wind Power Project Management from Uppsala University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University, Joel has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Previous roles include conducting a Master Thesis on wind atlas resource assessment at Zephyr AS, working as a Geospatial Engineer at Cyient, and serving as a Junior Geographic Information Systems Engineer and Intern at NeST Technologies. Additionally, Joel co-hosted LinkedIn Local Kerala to foster community discussions around industry trends and held the position of Chairman for the IEEE Student Branch at MGUCE, showcasing strong leadership capabilities.
