Rupa Gupta

Rupa Gupta is the Founder and CEO of Sown To Grow, a company that helps people connect with their food and where it comes from. Rupa is passionate about food justice and education, and has dedicated their career to making healthy food more accessible to everyone.

Before starting their own company, Rupa worked for the San Jose Unified School District, first as an Administrator of Redesign for Ohlone Middle School, and then as a Manager of Strategic Projects. In these roles, Rupa was responsible for developing and implementing innovative educational programs that improved outcomes for students.

Prior to their work in education, Rupa was a consultant for The Bridgespan Group and Bain & Company. In these roles, they advised clients on strategic planning and operations improvement. Rupa’s experience in consulting has helped their to build a successful business that is making a positive impact on the world.

Rupa Gupta has a Masters in Educational Leadership from The Broad Residency and a Masters in Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Rupa also has a BS in Business Administration and Chemistry from UC Berkeley.
