François Derbaix

François Derbaix has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. François is the co-founder and co-CEO of Indexa Capital, a leading automated investment manager in Spain. In 2014, they co-founded Bewater Funds and served as a board member. François is also a co-founder and trustee of Fundación Ayuda Efectiva, a nonprofit organization focused on identifying and funding cost-effective charitable programs. François has been an investor and board member of Bluesquare, an investor and advisor of Tiendeo, and a board member and investor of reclamador.es. François was a co-founder and board member of Soysuper, which is an online platform for digitalized catalogs, and Aplazame, a leading checkout lender in Spain. François also served as an investor and board member of Deporvillage.com until its sale to JD Sports. Furthermore, François has been a member of the board and advisory board of Fundación Ciudadana Civio, an NGO for transparency and civic participation.

François Derbaix attended Université catholique de Louvain from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a degree in Business Administration, specializing in "Business Engineering." In 1996, they also participated in an exchange program at ESAN - Escuela Superior de Administración de Negocios, focusing on Business Administration and Management. In terms of additional certifications, François Derbaix obtained the EFPA - EIP (European Investment Practitioner) certification from EFPA España in October 2018.
