Javier Camuñas Velasco

Javier Camuñas Velasco has extensive work experience in the field of technology. Javier started their career as a Junior Developer at Wanadoo in 2002 and worked there until 2004. From 2004 to 2008, they worked as a Software Engineer at Orange Spain. In 2004, they briefly worked as a Software Developer and Sysadmin at Meteologica S.A. Later in 2008, they collaborated on Ventuz development at Pictures That Move for a brief period. From 2008 to 2009, they worked in Web Development at FreeKey::Labs. Javier then joined Rentalia in 2009 as the CTO, where they worked until 2014. In 2012, they also co-founded Soysuper. From 2014 onwards, they worked as an SRE tech lead at Tuenti, and then at Telefónica from 2018.

Javier Camuñas Velasco obtained their degree in Ingeniería Informática with a specialization in financiera from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca. Javier completed their education at the university from 1996 to 2003.
