Philipp Geiger

Philipp Geiger has extensive experience in political communication and consultancy, currently serving as the spokesperson for the Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands (SPD) and for SPD chairperson Saskia Esken since November 2015. Prior roles include Deputy Spokesperson for the SPD Executive Board and Chief of Editorial Department at the SPD Executive Board. Geiger's earlier career includes consultancy positions at BEST FRIEND - Agentur für Kommunikation GmbH and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, as well as work in the International Department of the SPD Executive Board. Geiger holds a Magister Artium degree in Political Science from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, completed in 2005.
