John-Jon Steyn

John-Jon Steyn has work experience as a C# / Unity Software Engineer at Sozo Labs starting from July 2022. In this role, they collaborate with designers and artists to create immersive Virtual Reality educational experiences. John-Jon is dedicated to making a positive impact through their technical skills and creativity.

Prior to that, they worked as a Digital Marketing Manager at Delta Community Church from May 2018 to December 2018. In this role, they developed and executed dynamic marketing campaigns and creative initiatives to engage the target audience. John-Jon focused on infusing humor, creativity, and a fresh perspective to foster brand loyalty and create meaningful connections.

John-Jon Steyn completed their National Senior Certificate at Overvaal High School from 2013 to 2017. John-Jon went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, which they are expected to complete between 2020 and 2023. In terms of certifications, they obtained the "Learn Intermediate Python 3 Course" from Codecademy in May 2022, and they acquired the "Learn Python 3 Course" from Codecademy in April 2022. In addition, they received the "Unreal Engine 5 C++ Developer: Learn C++ & Make Video Games" certification from GameDev.tv in March 2023, and they achieved certifications in "Intro to Programming using Python" and "Python" from Kaggle, although the exact dates are unknown.
