April Kabahar

April Kabahar has over two decades of experience in corporate communications and public relations. Most recently, April served as the Global Head of Corporate Communications at S&P Global from August 2012 to January 2025, leading strategic initiatives in this role. Prior to that, April held the position of Global Head of Communications at S&P Dow Jones Indices, managing communications for a leading resource in index-based research. April's experience includes serving as Communications Manager at S&P Global Ratings, where communication strategies for financial market intelligence were developed. Earlier roles include serving as Communications Associate at Brunswick Group, providing strategic media counsel, and Director of Research at Fitch Ratings, conducting financial analysis. April began a career in journalism at Institutional Investor News, reporting on financial topics. April holds a BA in Mass Communications from the University of the Philippines.
