Barnaby Dobson

Barnaby Dobson is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the maritime, trade, and information analytics sectors. Currently, as the Managing Director and Vice President of APAC Sales and Global Inside Sales for S&P Global, Barnaby supports various sales organizations across the APAC region and globally, facilitating informed decision-making for governments, financial institutions, corporations, and non-profits through insights into risk, economics, and technology. Prior to this role, Barnaby held several positions at IHS Markit, including Managing Director of Global Sales for Maritime & Trade and Executive Director for Asia Pacific, leading commercial efforts and driving growth within the maritime sector. Barnaby has also successfully managed sales teams in the chemicals and energy industries and has a solid educational background, holding a degree in Politics from the University of Exeter.
