Bruce Thomson is a sustainability and ESG expert with extensive experience in supply chain management and international trade. At S&P Global, Bruce served as Director of Sustainability Research, focusing on the integration of sustainability risks into credit analysis and leading the development of ESG Sector Materiality Maps. Prior to that, Bruce led North America Sustainability Consulting for ELEVATE Global, advising major brands on responsible sourcing and ESG practices. As Co-Founder and CEO of BrightLabel, Bruce developed a software platform to enhance supply chain transparency. Bruce's career also includes impactful roles at The World Bank, where project management and research initiatives focused on trade facilitation, sustainability, and women's economic empowerment. Bruce holds a Master's degree in International Finance and Economics from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Wake Forest University.
