Chris Mooney

Chris Mooney, CFA, has been with S&P Global Ratings since 2006, currently serving as Director, where responsibilities include managing a team of junior analysts focused on a portfolio of approximately 40 telecom credits, including major companies such as Charter Communications and Dish Network. Previously, as Associate Director, Chris conducted primary credit analysis for over 20 investment and speculative grade companies, performing detailed risk assessments, financial forecasts, and leading formal rating committees. Prior experience includes working as a Mutual Fund Accountant at Morgan Stanley and a brief tenure as a professional football player with the New York Football Giants, where a physical evaluation led to release due to past injuries. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware.
