Chris Walsh

Chris Walsh is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in finance and account management. From January 2003 to April 2006, Chris served as an Analyst at Axia Ventures in the hedge fund sector. Following this, a tenure at Bloomberg LP spanned from April 2007 to March 2016, during which Chris contributed significantly to the organization. Subsequently, Chris held the position of APAC Head of Account Management at eFront from April 2016 to August 2017. Since October 2017, Chris has been the Executive Director at S&P Global, with a focus on account management following the merger with IHS Markit and the acquisition of Ipreo. Before entering the finance industry, Chris worked in insurance and fund management at Bankers Life Insurance Company from July 2006 to April 2007. Academically, Chris has a degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on International Business and Finance from New York University, and is currently pursuing a Master's in Technology with a focus on Artificial Intelligence at the University of Technology Sydney, following studies at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
