Mark Habib

Mark Habib is a seasoned financial professional with over 16 years of experience in prominent roles. Currently serving as Managing Director at Standard & Poor's since September 2007, Mark leads the Telecom and Technology sectors across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, focusing on credit ratings and research. Previously, as a Director, Mark specialized in the North American energy sector, conducting credit analysis and providing insights on various energy assets. Prior experience includes consultancy for UNDP, managing a significant USAID portfolio at Development Alternatives, Inc., and early-stage operational management at Webmind. Mark began his career at Sun Microsystems as a Senior Analyst in real estate and workforce expansions. Mark holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Political Science and Economics from UCLA.
