Maurice Austin

Maurice Austin is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in credit analysis and equity research. Since July 2007, Maurice has served as a Director and Credit Analyst at Standard & Poor's, managing a portfolio of speculative grade companies in the building products, homebuilders, and basic materials sectors, and chairing the Natural Resources Credit Ratings Committee. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President/U.S. Equity Analyst at Merrill Lynch, where engagement with a due diligence research team supported investments in the US equity market, and Vice President/Senior Equity Analyst at Columbia Management Group, focusing on mid and large cap basic materials. Maurice began a career in finance at The Boston Company Asset Management, LLC, as Vice President/Equity Analyst, concentrating on various sectors such as basic materials and electric utilities.
