Tobias Mock

Tobias Mock is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in credit ratings and corporate analysis. Currently serving as Managing Director and Country Head in Germany at S&P Global Ratings since April 2005, Tobias leads the Corporate Ratings sector in the DACH region and oversees analytical interactions with investors and issuers. As a Global Business Leader for Project Simplify, Tobias drives digital transformation and business agility initiatives for S&P Global Ratings worldwide. Previously, Tobias managed a team of 50 analysts covering 430 corporate clients across EMEA and held various leadership roles in analytic management. Earlier experience includes an Associate Director position at the Royal Bank of Scotland focusing on relationship management in pharmaceuticals and mining, and roles at HypoVereinsbank as a Senior Credit Analyst and Equity Research Analyst in the chemicals and pharmaceuticals sectors. Tobias holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and is a holder of the CEFA and CFA designations.
