SP Ventures
Alex is a senior partner at SP Ventures focused on investments in the FoodTech value chain. He is specially interested in companies with disruptive business models and/or that are building products and services for markets that have been historically underserved or
new tendencies in consumption.
Prior to SP Ventures, he has worked with multiple companies in the food industry both in an operational capacity as well as an investor role. He was the commercial director of the largest tilapia producer in Brazil, leading a team of more than 50 people. Additionally, he was a director at Aqua Capital, the largest private equity firm focused in the agribusiness value chain in Latin America.
Alex, holds a B.S. from IBMEC-RJ in economics. He also
holds an MBA from Insead.
In his free time, Alex enjoy follow closely all kind of sports.... and loves cooking all types of food.
