Senior Military Operations Analyst at SPA

Benjamin Schechter has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Benjamin currently holds the position of Senior Military Operations Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. since January 2022. Additionally, they are also a Non-resident Research Fellow at the U.S. Naval War College starting from March 2022. Prior to these roles, they served as an Instructor at Naval War College from March 2017 to January 2022. Benjamin also had previous experience as a Contractor at Advanced Resource Technologies, Inc. and as a Research Specialist at Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) from October 2015 to March 2017. Furthermore, Benjamin worked as a Policy Intern at Potomac Institute for Policy Studies from August 2014 to May 2015 and as a Research Associate at International Center for the Study of Terrorism from August 2012 to July 2013.

Benjamin Schechter completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Management and Psychology from Beloit College in 2011. Benjamin then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University in 2015. Additionally, they participated in a Graduate Exchange Program at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, specializing in Strategic Studies in 2014.
