H. Hatcher Tynes, Ph.D., currently serves as the Principal Physicist and Directed Energy Subject Matter Expert at Systems Planning & Analysis, providing technical leadership on directed energy applications and neutralization strategies for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. With a robust background in directed energy systems and policy influence, Tynes previously held positions as a Scientist and Subject Matter Expert at Zel Technologies LLC, and as a Science and Technology Advisor at Lanmark Technology, Inc. Additional experience includes work with various organizations supporting counter-IED efforts and conducting research in physics. Tynes holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Texas A&M University and a BS in Physics from Louisiana State University.
