Jeff Braun

Director Of Strategic Development at SPA

Jeff Braun has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Coffman Engineers, where they designed electrical systems for large-scale construction projects. In 2009, they joined Intel Labs as a Researcher, focusing on novel hybridized antenna designs for communications and energy harvesting. Jeff then interned at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in 2010, researching monopulse communication technologies for military satellite communications. From 2010 to 2019, they worked at Sandia National Laboratories as a Senior Member of the Technical Staff and Electromagnetic Effects Subject Matter Expert, working on various projects. In 2015, Jeff became the Director of Communications and Executive Member of the Board of Directors at Integrated Precision Warfare, an NDIA Division. In 2017, they became a Scientific Advisor to the Deputy Director for Strategic Stability at the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, where they provided advice on nuclear weapons topics. Currently, they are employed at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. as the Principal Technical Analyst and Capture Manager, leading two engineering and analyst teams that support Analyses of Alternatives for the US Navy's Naval Air Systems Command and DOD's Defense Threat Reduction Agency.

Jeff Braun attended the University of Washington College of Engineering from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering. Jeff then continued their education at the same institution from 2009 to 2010, receiving a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
