Joshua Powers has extensive work experience in military operations and intelligence analysis. Joshua currently holds the role of Senior Military Operations and Intelligence Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. Starting in 2002, Joshua began their career in the US Navy where they held various leadership positions. This includes serving as the Director of Undersea Warfare Integration in the Office of Naval Intelligence, where they provided expert knowledge on undersea warfare tactics and guided future investment areas. Joshua also served as the Chief Operations Officer at the Undersea Rescue Command, leading a team responsible for rescuing crew from disabled submarines. Joshua has experience in logistics support, training, and readiness of submarines as the Deputy Director of Submarine Squadron 11. Joshua has demonstrated expertise in innovation and integration of technologies as the Technical Operations Chief in the Joint Chiefs of Staff and National Military Command Center. Joshua Powers obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in History from the United States Naval Academy, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Following that, they completed the Navy Nuclear Power Program, specializing in Nuclear Power Plant Design and Operation, during the period from 2000 to 2002. In 2013, they earned a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Old Dominion University. Additionally, Joshua obtained Top Secret / SCI Clearance from the United States Department of Defense in March 2023.
