Joyce Kales-Nieman

Joyce Kales-Nieman is a Medisch-maatschappelijk werker at Spaarne Gasthuis since October 2023, providing psychosocial and material assistance to patients and their networks in relation to illness and medical treatment. Joyce founded Mijn Tempel in August 2023, focusing on organizing training sessions, education, and retreats aimed at unleashing personal potential. From 2018 to 2023, Joyce worked at Fivoor as a Reclasseringswerker Begeleiding & Toezicht and as a trainer for Justitiële GedragsInterventies, also conducting research on cultural diversity in forensic mental health as part of academic work. Earlier experiences include internships at Palier, MEE Noordwest-Holland, and De Hartekamp Groep, providing supportive roles in mental health and social care environments. Joyce holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and mental health care from Inholland University of Applied Sciences.
