Wieger Horstmann

Wieger Horstmann is an accomplished Orthopedic Surgeon MD, PhD, currently serving at the Vakgroep Orthopedie Spaarne Gasthuis in Haarlem and Hoofddorp since June 2006. With a robust background in orthopedic surgery, Horstmann completed a fellowship in knee and hip prosthetics at Sint Maartenskliniek from 2004 to 2006 and undertook residency training in orthopedic surgery at Isala Klinieken Zwolle, UMC Groningen, and Medisch Centrum Leeuwarden from 1998 to 2004. In addition to clinical practice, Horstmann contributed to academia through a doctoral project on blood-conserving measures in total hip and knee prosthesis at Universiteit Utrecht. Educational credentials include an Artsexamen (Cum Laude) from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and secondary education from Willem Lodewijk Gymnasium.
