Irene Avalos has an extensive background in education and program coordination, currently serving as a Counselor/Instructor at Space Center Houston since 2016. Prior experience includes roles as a Program Coordinator with the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston from April 2014 to March 2017 and as an Office Assistant/Teacher Aide at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church from August 2008 to May 2014. Additionally, Irene Avalos worked as a Receptionist/Call Center Agent at Reliant Energy in 2013. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, a Technical Degree in Industrial Design from the College of the Mainland, a Career Discovery program in Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and an Associate’s Degree in Psychology from San Jacinto College.
