Rachel Pearl Herman is an experienced museum and collections professional with a diverse background in strategic initiatives and project management. Currently serving as Strategic Initiatives Project Manager at Space Center Houston since December 2019, Rachel has previously held roles including Director of Collections at Lone Star Flight Museum and Collections Manager at Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Rachel's expertise in curatorial practices is further demonstrated through various volunteer positions at respected institutions, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the American Museum of Natural History. Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Archaeology and History from The University of Texas at Austin.
