Alexander Rasmussen has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Alexander began their career in the United States Army in 2001, where they held various roles such as Assistant Battalion S2, Tank Platoon Leader, and Battalion Civil Military Operations Officer. Alexander then served as a Company Commander and Brigade Current Operations Officer, responsible for tactical orders and missions in a brigade capable of worldwide deployment.

In 2010, Rasmussen transitioned to the US Army - PM Ground Combat Vehicle, where they worked as Assistant Product Manager, Program Manager for Foreign Armored Vehicle Analysis, and Military Deputy for Hit & Kill Avoidance.

In 2015, they took on a role as an MBA Summer Intern at the City of Detroit before returning to the US Army as a Program Manager for the Joint Friendly Forces Tracking Testbed and later as a Product Manager for Mounted Position, Navigation, & Timing (PNT).

Most recently, Rasmussen has been working at the Space Development Agency as the Chief of the Tracking Layer, responsible for missile warning and tracking, and as a Program Manager for the Tranche 1 Tracking Layer. Their work experience reflects a strong background in project and program management, as well as leadership and operations roles within the military.

Alexander Rasmussen has a diverse education history. Alexander obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2014 to 2016. During their time as an MBA student, they also participated in the European MBA Summer Institute at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in 2015, focusing on Doing Business in Europe.

Prior to their MBA, Alexander pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, completing it from 1996 to 2000. Alexander also received training and education in the field of military intelligence and armored warfare. In 2001, they completed the Military Intelligence Officer Basic course at the United States Army Intelligence Center, and in 2005, they attended the Armor Captains Career Course at the United States Army Armor Center.

Furthermore, Alexander has sought additional certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Alexander obtained Level III Program Management certification from the U.S. Army Acquisition Support Center in March 2014. Additionally, they became an Acquisitions Corps Member and obtained Level I International Program Management certification from Defense Acquisition University and Defense Security Cooperation University respectively in February 2014. In March 2013, they attained Level I Science & Technology Manager certification from the U.S. Army Acquisition Support Center.

It is also worth noting that Alexander holds the Army Space Cadre certification from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, although the specific details of their attainment are not provided.
