Steve Szabo is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in civil engineering and spaceport development. Currently serving as Vice President of Spaceport Planning & Development at Space Florida since December 2013, Steve Szabo has played a pivotal role in transforming Cape Canaveral Spaceport into a multi-sector space transportation complex, while also managing financial assistance grant agreements for infrastructure projects. Prior to this, Steve Szabo held various roles at Jones Edmunds, including Vice President and Project Manager, and gained valuable experience as a Civil Engineer at PBS&J, managing extensive stormwater systems. Steve Szabo began a career in engineering with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Auburn University and has held positions in utility infrastructure design and research assistance.
