Sara Sabry is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of DEEP SPACE INITIATIVE, a non-profit company focused on increasing accessibility and opportunity in space for deep space exploration. Sara is also currently serving as a New Shepard Astronaut at BLUE ORIGIN, a Citizen Astronaut at Space for Humanity, and is the Co-Founder of the Space Ambassador Program at EgSA-Egyptian Space Agency. In addition, Sara is participating in the Suborbital Research Qualification Program at the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences. With a diverse educational background in aerospace engineering, biomedical engineering, and mechanical engineering, Sara is a highly qualified and enthusiastic individual dedicated to making an impact in the field of space exploration and research.

Space for Humanity
Space for Humanity is organizing the planet’s first Sponsored Citizen Astronaut Mission, where leaders, from any walk of life, can apply for an opportunity to go to space and experience the Overview Effect: the cognitive shift in awareness that occurs when a human being looks down on the Earth from space. Each year, a new crew is selected from a diverse group of leaders from around the globe. Upon their return, each citizen astronaut has a commitment to leveraging that experience for the collective good. Our mission is to expand access to space, train our leaders of tomorrow, and contribute to a culture of interconnectedness as we venture into the stars. Through our citizen spaceflight program, leadership training, and collaborative efforts to educate the public, we are setting the stage to create the world we want, both here on Earth and throughout the cosmos. We believe our future in space will be determined by who we resolve to be on Earth, today.
