Steven Grey

Steven Grey's work experience includes a role as Lead Satellite Operations Engineer at Space Forge starting from March 2023. Previously, they worked at B2Space as Head of Performance & Modelling from January 2022 to March 2023, and also held the position of Head of Performance and Modelling & Mechanical Engineering during the same period. Additionally, Steven worked as an Aerospace Engineer at B2Space from January 2021 to December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Thermal Analysis Engineer at B2Space for one month in August 2020. Furthermore, Steven served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Bristol from September 2017 to August 2020, and as a Research Intern within the Faculty of Engineering and the University of Bristol from June 2015 to August 2015. During their research internship, they focused on the detection of blockages in an aircraft pitot tube using acoustics methodology.

Steven Grey obtained A-Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from King Ecgbert School between 2005 and 2010. Steven then pursued a Master's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Bristol from 2012 to 2016. Following this, they continued their education at the University of Bristol and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Advanced Composites for Innovation and Science from 2016 to 2021.
