Ram Prasad Gandhiraman

Ram Prasad Gandhiraman has a wealth of experience in the field of research and development. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as a Researcher at Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences and a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Biomedical Diagnostics Institute in Dublin City University. During this time, they pioneered the plasma processing research for biosensors fabrication and effectively developed technologies for surface engineering of biosensor chips and microfluidic devices. In 2012, they joined NASA Ames Research Center as a Research Scientist (On Contract), where they developed in-situ resource utilization (ISRU) technologies for space mission. In 2015, they became the CEO of Space Foundry LLC. Finally, in 2016, they founded and became the CEO of Space Foundry Inc., a company focused on www.spacefoundry.us.

Ram Prasad Gandhiraman completed a B.Sc. in Applied Sciences from Coimbatore Institute of Technology from 1997-2000. Ram Prasad then went on to earn an M.Sc. in Materials Science from PSG College of Technology from 2000-2002. From 2002-2007, they earned a PhD in Plasma Surface Engineering from Dublin City University. In 2016-2017, they completed an Entrepreneur Accelerator program from the Startup Leadership Program, focusing on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
