Kristina Collins

Kristina Collins is a researcher at the Space Science Institute, where employment began in January 2023. Previously, Kristina served as a PhD student at Case Western Reserve University from August 2018 to January 2023. Prior experience includes multiple roles at NASA Glenn Research Center as part of the LERCIP program from June 2015 to August 2018, involving testing RF and optical properties for space communication. Additional positions include a research assistant role in the EECS Department at CWRU, focusing on imaging for robotics research, and a student teaching assistantship at think[box], CWRU, where Kristina assisted in manufacturing projects. An electrical engineering co-op at Philips Healthcare involved hardware development for CT machines, and an internship at ASM International supported materials science education camps. Kristina holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, complemented by a combined BS/MS in the same field.
