Nicholas Olesen

Nicholas Olesen is an aerospace engineering leader and mechanical project lead with over a decade of experience in aerospace and space applications. Currently, they serve as the Mechanical Project Lead at Space Structures GmbH, managing mechanical hardware projects for space applications. Nicholas previously worked with Lilium eAircraft GmbH on stress analysis for eVTOL aircraft and led a team at Belcan Engineering Services Germany specializing in gas turbine components for Rolls-Royce Deutschland. Early in their career, Nicholas honed their stress analysis skills at EADS Astrium, contributing to satellite manufacturing processes. They hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath.
