Jennifer Sitz

Scott Matsui has an extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Scott is currently working at Space Systems Integration LLC as the Director of Advanced Programs since April 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Principal Engineer in Mission Ops Integration from August 2022 to March 2023.

Before joining Space Systems Integration LLC, Scott Matsui was with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) as a Lead Planner for Space Superiority Missions from September 2020 to August 2022.

Earlier in their career, they worked at the United States Department of the Air Force in various roles. Scott served as a Program Manager for Special Programs Directorate from October 2016 to September 2020. Prior to that, they were a Senior Technical Manager in the OPIR Wide Field of View Testbed Branch from June 2013 to October 2016. Scott Matsui also worked as a Systems Engineer in the Advanced Spacelift & Propulsion Branch from July 2011 to June 2013. Scott started their career as a Systems Engineer (Pathways Intern) in the GPS Ground Systems Division from July 2010 to July 2011.

Scott Matsui holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA. Scott also obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California. In addition, Scott has received several certifications, including Program Management: DAWIA Level II, Science & Technology Management: DAWIA Level III, Space Professional Development Program: Tier II, and Systems Engineering (SPRDE): DAWIA Level III. The institutions from which they obtained these certifications are the United States Department of Defense and the United States Space Force.
