Fan Zhu

Fan Zhu currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Autonomous Mobility at Space42 since January 2025. Prior to this role, Fan Zhu held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Bayanat for Mapping & Surveying Services LLC from May 2020 to May 2025 and served as the Director of Project Coordination at the Inception Institute of Artificial Intelligence from March 2018 to May 2020. Earlier career experiences include a role as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at New York University Abu Dhabi from November 2014 to March 2017. Fan Zhu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Vision and a Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, both from The University of Sheffield, where academic achievements include a distinction in the MSc program.
