Stavroula (Voula) Theophanous has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Counselor role at HCGM Sports Camp in 2009. In 2011, Voula took on the role of Barista at Wrapcity Gourmet. In 2013, they interned as a Software Engineer at MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates, where they debugged and developed internal software tools and testing tools for a satellite telecommunication system. In 2014, Voula worked as a Programmer at École Secondaire Aristotelis and a Jr. Space Mission Analyst at UrtheCast. At UrtheCast, Voula then progressed to roles as an Embedded Software Engineer Associate, Embedded Software Engineer II, and Embedded Software Engineer III. Stavroula (Voula) was responsible for the development cycle of embedded targets, including sensor model creation, health telemetry collection, and OneWire temperature protocol implementation. Voula was also the Lead Developer and Owner of a production-level software system. In 2019, Voula volunteered as a Web Application Developer at Master Recycler Vancouver, developing a Rails web application that allows students to log and track their Community Outreach hours. Finally, in 2021, Voula began their current roles as Digital Systems Team Lead and Embedded Software Engineer III at SpaceAlpha Insights.

Stavroula (Voula) Theophanous completed their high school education at Pensionnat du Saint-Nom-de-Marie in 2009 after studying in the International Baccalaureate Program from 2004-2009. Stavroula (Voula) then attended Marianopolis College from 2009-2011, studying Health Sciences. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from McGill University between 2011 and 2015.
