Javier Recio

Javier Recio has extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer for Eutelsat Americas since October 2011, where over $1.6 billion in revenue has been generated in the past decade. Previously held the position of VP Sales & Marketing at Eutelsat, playing a key role in a successful M&A process valued at $1.14 billion and establishing contracts worth over $85 million within two years. Prior to Eutelsat, Recio was the Managing Director of Sales for Latin America & Caribbean at Intelsat, overseeing commercial operations following the Intelsat/PanAmSat merger. Recio's earlier roles include Director of Sales for Latin America at PanAmSat, where consistent growth was achieved, and managing engineering operations at Americatel Corp. Recio earned a BS in Computer Engineering from Florida International University and has a foundational education from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Colegio Claret.
