Samantha McInnis

Samantha McInnis is a Senior Data Scientist currently working at Spacelabs Healthcare, contributing to the Rothman Index product team, which focuses on machine learning-based patient acuity scoring. With a comprehensive understanding of the data science lifecycle, Samantha excels in data sourcing using SQL, data cleaning, visualization, and predictive modeling. Prior to Spacelabs, Samantha held a similar role at PeraHealth: The Rothman Index after its acquisition. Samantha's foundational expertise in data science was developed at Flatiron School, where intensive training in Python and machine learning was completed. Before transitioning to data science, Samantha gained valuable experience in finance as an Associate at Brentwood Capital Advisors, where analytical skills and client communication were honed. Additional relevant internships include positions at Bessemer Trust and InterSystems, as well as tutoring at the University of Notre Dame, where a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Italian Studies was earned.
