Hirokazu Morita has a diverse work experience history. Hirokazu started their career as a Researcher at ISAS/JAXA from April 2003 to March 2005. Hirokazu then moved on to work as a Deputy Director at the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry from April 2005 to August 2011. Following this, Morita pursued their MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business from September 2011 to June 2013, where they specialized in Entrepreneurship, Statistics, and General Management. During this time, they were also selected for the Polsky Center Accelerator Program. After completing their MBA, Morita founded and became the CEO of ORIGAMI Inc., an online marketplace for digital art, from June 2012 to June 2014. Hirokazu then founded and became the CEO of Spacely, Inc., a VR cloud software company, in July 2013. At Spacely, Morita focused on simplifying and enhancing the creation and utilization of 360 VR content for business users. Under their leadership, Spacely acquired over 3000 business accounts in three years since its launch in 2016.
Hirokazu Morita has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics, which they obtained from The University of Tokyo between 1999 and 2003. Hirokazu later pursued a Master of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from 東京大学大学院工学系研究科航空宇宙工学専攻, also known as the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, Morita holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which they earned between 2011 and 2013.
