Nicholas Hunt

Nicholas Hunt FCCA has a wealth of experience in finance and operations. Nicholas began their career in 2011 as a Payroll Supervisor at Spencer Ogden, where they were promoted to Accounts Assistant within three days. In 2013, they moved to Henderson Scott as an Assistant Finance Manager. In 2014, Nicholas joined Nicoll Curtin as a Finance Manager, where they were responsible for month end processes, foreign subsidiary and consolidation reporting, and presenting the management accounts to the board of directors. Nicholas also managed the statutory audit for the group accounts. In 2016, Nicholas worked as an Operations Director at Azuki Accounts and as a Systems Accountant (Project) at Quanta Consultancy Services. In 2017, they took a career break to travel the world. In 2018, Nicholas returned to Nicoll Curtin as the Head of Finance, where they project managed and implemented RSM InTime timesheet and billing system to comply with IR35 changes, upgraded accounts package to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and restructured the CRM data to ensure the business was adhering to a single point of truth. In 2019, they joined Spacemade as Head of Finance and Operations, where their role was to build and operate the finance and accounting infrastructure to support their customers' spaces.

Nicholas Hunt FCCA has a long and varied educational background. Nicholas obtained their GCE A-Levels from Berkhamsted School in 2003-2008, and then a BA(Econ) Hons (2:1, 69%) from The University of Manchester in 2008-2011. Nicholas then obtained an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business from ACCA in 2012-2014, and was certified as an ACCA Member in 2012-2015. In June 2020, they obtained a Xero Certified Partner certification from Xero.
