Ben Zhang

Ben Zhang is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sourcing and global supplier management across various industries. Ben served as the Director of Global Supplier Management at JIER North America from 2011 to 2014, where responsibilities included supporting the F-150 aluminum body program and managing sub-suppliers for Ford Motor Company's launch deadlines. Following this, Ben held the position of Global Commodity Manager at EFI from November 2014 to March 2023, overseeing price negotiation, quality control, logistics, and contract manufacturing. Additionally, Ben worked as a Sourcing Manager at Toledo Press Company from 2003 to 2011, where initiatives in metal casting and heavy machinery procurement enabled successful cost reductions and major project acquisitions. Currently, Ben is a Sourcing Manager at SpaceX, focusing on the Starlink program. Ben holds an MBA in Finance from The University of Toledo and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
