Benjamin Tait is an experienced avionics systems engineer currently serving as Avionics Systems Engineer II for the Starship program at SpaceX since March 2023. In this role, Benjamin has been instrumental in overseeing avionics systems for multiple Starship booster vehicles, including leading critical upgrades during production and pre-launch campaigns, contributing to successful booster catches. Prior to this position, Benjamin held various roles at Space Enterprise at Berkeley, where involvement in the development of a liquid bipropellant rocket project was highlighted. Additional experience includes internships at SpaceX, MOMENTUS, Space Technologies At California, and Boeing, focusing on avionics, systems engineering, and software development. Benjamin earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
