Ethan Heyns is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in propulsion systems and rocketry. From May 2022 to April 2023, Ethan served as Chief Engineer for the Yellow Jacket Space Program, leading a large team of students in a mission to launch the first student-built rocket into space. Prior roles included Technical Advisor and Vehicle Fluids Lead, where responsibilities encompassed advising on critical projects, designing components, and conducting integrated vehicle tests. In the professional realm, Ethan has held positions at SpaceX as a Propulsion Engineer and intern for the Starship Booster Propulsion team, where efforts focused on enhancing component reliability and integration.
