Jacob Bendell

Jacob Bendell is an accomplished engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently serving as a Starship Avionics Engineer at SpaceX, Jacob is responsible for providing ground-side power and network support for rocket systems. Jacob co-founded PopEye Labs, where the world’s first autonomous anchor-monitoring solution for commercial vessels was developed. Previous experience includes product development at Tesla, R&D Test Engineering at Amped Innovation, and various engineering internships focused on manufacturing efficiency and process improvement. Jacob's early career also featured roles in maintenance and sales, demonstrating a diverse skill set across multiple industries.
