Jacob Katz is a Principal GNC Engineer at SpaceX, a position they have held since 2023, after previously serving as a Lead GNC Engineer in 2022. They began their career in the field at Blue Origin as an intern in 2007. Jacob completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they also earned a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Aeronautics and Astronautics, respectively.
