Jeff Van Treuren

Jeff Van Treuren is a mechanical engineer currently serving as a test director at Space Exploration Technologies. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2010, where they focused on engineering systems design and manufacturing. Since 2011, Jeff has successfully directed flight acceptance testing for seven Merlin 9 rocket engines and has conducted various testing on next-generation components, receiving an outstanding performance rating. Previously, they worked as a machine shop technician at Rose-Hulman and as a test engineer at SpaceX, where they implemented improvements that significantly reduced test time for rocket engines.
