Johannes Reichert

Johannes Reichert is a propulsion engineer at SpaceX, starting in July 2024. Previously, Johannes served as the lead fluid systems engineer at USC Liquid Propulsion Laboratory from September 2022 to June 2024, where notable achievements included directing the first successful TVC static fire of a 3 kN kerosene/LOx engine and leading a team of over 30 graduate students in fluid systems development. Additional experience includes a role as a CFD graduate research assistant at USC Viterbi School of Engineering, an engineering intern at ION Mobility, and conducting groundbreaking research on Active Flow Control during a bachelor's thesis at the University of Arizona. Johannes holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from Technische Universität Berlin.
