Manas Shah is an engineer with a passion for control systems engineering, mechanical design, and embedded systems/power electronics. Currently, they work as a Starship Electronics Engineer at SpaceX, focusing on high-stress PCBs. Manas previously interned at Tesla, contributing to firmware for the Cybertruck range extender, and worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, where they developed a humanoid robot named HECTOR. They also held internships at the Information Sciences Institute and Trans Astronautica Corporation, where they developed a data transmission simulator and designed control systems for optical thruster tests, respectively. Manas holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is pursuing a Master's degree in the same field at the University of Southern California.
