Lead Test Equipment Engineer

Morgan O'Neil is an experienced engineer currently serving as the Lead Test Equipment Engineer at SpaceX, with a tenure that began in June 2017. Prior roles at SpaceX include Senior Test Equipment Engineer and Test Equipment Engineer II, with earlier positions as Test Equipment Engineer and internships in Test Operations Engineering and Vehicle Engineering. Prior to joining SpaceX, Morgan was a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, where contributions included designing a laser spectroscopy lab and researching detection methods for explosives. Morgan also has a background as an Undergraduate Researcher at Texas A&M University, focusing on MAX phase composites, and has experience in customer service at Clear River Pecan Company. Morgan holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
