Nathan Yacovetta

Nathan Yacovetta is a hardware development engineer at SpaceX since June 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an undergraduate researcher at the Space Sciences Laboratory, a mechanical engineering intern at SpaceX, and a mechanical and biology specialist at Space Technologies At California (STAC). Nathan has also served as a payload specialist at Space Technologies and Rocketry (STAR), where Nathan led the design and assembly of rocket payload structures, and founded Print2Protect, a nonprofit organization focused on 3D printing personal protective equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional experience includes internships at Astro Digital, Berkeley Lab, and NASA Ames Research Center. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley and a high school diploma in Aerospace Engineering from Santa Teresa High School.
