Rebeca Michel

Rebeca Michel has extensive experience in engineering roles, primarily at SpaceX since April 2018, where positions have included Starship Build Engineer II, Build Reliability Engineer II, and Industrial Engineer. Prior to SpaceX, Rebeca served as Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer at Hive Lighting Inc., implementing production schedules, improving manufacturing processes through Lean concepts, and enhancing quality control measures. Additional experience includes a role as Green Associate at the USC Office of Sustainability, where Rebeca tracked greenhouse gas emissions and supported sustainability initiatives. Rebeca holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California, along with an Associate's Degree in Science from Santa Monica College and ongoing studies in Industrial and Systems Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
